YCC's New Facility Receives Support from Senator Gillibrand for Consideration with the Senate Appropriations Committee!

The Yates Community Center (YCC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Suzamie Farnsworth as the new President of the Board and Jill Bird as the new Vice President of the Board. This leadership change marks an exciting chapter for the YCC as it continues its mission to serve as a central hub for health and recreational activities in the community.

We still have some openings for general Board Members. As YCRR prepares to move into the next phase of growth, the Board of Directors are accepting letters of interest from community members who are interested in helping to make a difference within Yates County. The Yates Community Center (YCC) is thrilled to announce the incredible success of their 3rd Annual Gala presented by the Greater Rochester Health Foundation and Lyons National Bank, which took place at The Mansion at Keuka Lake.

Governor Kathy Hochul announced a significant milestone for the Yates Community Center (YCC) as it secures a $1.5 million grant award through the Regional Economic Development Council (REDC) initiative.

On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the YCC located at 467 North Main Street, Penn Yan, you can enjoy an evening of community and fun during the Yates County Chamber's Business After Hours and Ribbon Cutting at the Yates Community Center.
