**Calling all plant lovers and bookworms!** 

Join us for a fun and green afternoon at our Plant Book Swap! Bring your favorite plant-related books and take home something new to inspire your gardening adventures.

When: Friday, May 16, 2025 

Time: 11:00 -12:30

Where: @ the YCC Pavillion

 467 N Main St, Penn Yan

What to Bring:

-           Any plant books you’d like to swap (fiction, non-fiction, care guides, etc.) 

-           A little plant or cutting from your collection 

-           Any plant pots, seeds, or gardening tools that you no longer need

What to Expect: 

-           Browse and swap books with fellow enthusiasts 

-           Share tips and tricks about your favorite plants 

-           Refreshments and snacks will be provided 

How It Works:

-           Bring a plant or cuttings (or two) that you’re ready to part with.

-           Bring a book you’ve already read and are willing to share.

-           Bring any plant pots, seeds, or gardening tools that you no longer need.

-           You will receive a ticket for each item you drop off for the swap, with a limit of three plants and three books.

-           On the day of the swap, exchange your items for something new to you and grow your collection of plants and stories.

Start dropping off your plants, plant supplies, and/or gently loved books at the Yates Community Center any time on Tuesday, May 13, Wednesday, May 14, or Thursday, May 15, 2025.
